Practices
Practices will be Tuesdays and Thrursdays from 5:30PM to 7:00PM at the M&M Mars practice fields.
Principles of Defense
Pressure: player must apply immediate pressure to an opponent with the ball to win the ball and prevent a counter attack.
Cover: second defender provides cover behind the pressuring players, just in case he gets beat.
Balance: third defender positions themselves in a good position to win the ball or at least apply immediate pressure in case the ball is switched or played into open areas near their goal.
